There’s five weeks to go until Rocky is back in the ring when he faces Frenchmen Christopher Rebrasse at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on April 2.
Tickets for the fight are on sale now by clicking here for what should be another memorable night in Liverpool with Rebrasse making the trip across the English Channel and Rocky looking to end the contest inside the distance, something George Groves and Callum Smith failed to do against the Frenchman.
“He’s fought Callum and George, is a former European Champion and it’s a good tough fight,” explained Rocky. “I’m getting straight back in there. It’s a good test of where I am now. Groves beat him and went on to fight for a world title, Callum beat him and is now in a final eliminator. If I beat him, it will put me right back in the minx.
“Rebrasse’s put two brilliant fights on, he gave Groves a hard time. Callum outboxed him but he did catch him a few times. People know he comes to win and that he’s a tough opponent, they’re going to enjoy watching what I can do against him.”
Rocky is proud to be making a donation towards the Alder Hey Children’s Charity for every ticket sold for the fight.
Alder Hey Children’s Charity provides vital funds to help make Alder Hey in the Park a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital – making a crucial difference to the 275,000 patients and families who are cared for every year at the Liverpool hospital.
And you will be helping them continue their fantastic work when you buy a ticket for the April 2 show which also includes Callum Smith’s WBC world title eliminator with Hadillah Mohoumadi and the rematch between Scott Cardle and Sean Dodd for Cardle’s British Lightweight title.
